What is the Sokudo Race Driver Academy?

The Sokudo Race Driver Academy (SRDA) is an academy for racing drivers of all levels. The academy’s prime objectives is to assist you in finding sponsorship and promoting your abilities at every opportunity.

What are the minimum requirements for membership?

The minimum requirements for joining are simple. You must be over 16, be living in the UK and own at least your own crash helmet.

We supply you with SRDA members stickers which must be visible when racing. Ideally you would put two on your racing vehicle and one on your crash helmet, but only one sticker has to be visible to validate your membership.

We can accept drivers under the age of 16 with a parent or guardians written consent.

You only have to be living in the UK (i.e not necessarily a British citizen). For instance, you may be studying in the UK and wish to join the SRDA. This is perfectly acceptable and we welcome foreign drivers from all cultures.

Whats included in my membership?

What’s included in your membership depends on what tariff and tariff option you choose. Generally speaking membership includes the following:

• Sponsorship Management - We use your web page profile (See below) to attract sponsors for you and get the money you need to go racing. Sponsors contact us to negotiate a deal which is attractive for all parties.
• Fully managed web page - We manage and market your web page. Just send us material to upload (i.e pictures, news etc.) whenever you need too. We will also market your web page fully from day one. We add it to hundreds of search engines, place ads on various sites, and add your web page link to e-mails and e-zines. 
• Personal E-mail Account - You choose your e-mail address which you can use freely for personal or Sokudo use. Your account comes with a minimum 5mb limit.
• Sokudo-Online Livery - We supply you with 3 high standard vinyl transfers for you to display while racing.
• Sokudo Affiliate Scheme - Earn £3 - £10 for every driver or team you introduce to the SRDA. This is uncapped so you can introduce as many drivers as you like.
• Exclusive Sokudo Merchandise - Caps, Team shirts, and other Sokudo merchandise are available from our online shop. Some tariff options come with FREE merchandise.

What Tariffs do you sell?

We sell three different tariffs. Driver, Futatsu, and Team. All three have the same tariff options. Lite and Pro.The driver tariff is for one driver, futatsu for two and team for three drivers. Please see the tables below for differences and prices.

When will my Sponsorship Money Arrive?

While we put every available effort in to finding our drivers and teams sponsors, this cannot be guaranteed. Negotiating sponsorship is a long drawn out process which for some drivers is unsuccessful. You can improve your chances of sponsorship by keeping your profile up to date by sending us news and changes as and when they happen.

What is Sponsorship Priority?

One of the top initiatives of the SRDA is to match the correct drivers with the correct sponsors. Taking the Pro option in any tariff gives you priority over other drivers as you will have a more advanced web page and you will be one of the first to be referred to prospective sponsors.

What are my payment options?

We offer two payment options. Annual and Monthly. Both can be paid by Paypal and both are binded to a contract. (Please see the contract section for details). If you choose to pay monthly you will recieve a 10% discount for use in our shop rather than a free cap.

How do I go about joining the SRDA?

There are 3 simple steps to joining the SRDA:

1. Read these FAQ’s and choose your tariff.
2. Fill in the online application form.
3. Buy your membership from our online shop.

All members must read the FAQ’s and fill in the online form but trial members do not need to purchase anything from our shop. If at any time you need assistance please contact us at support@sokudo-online.com

What do I do if I want to leave the SRDA?

You are free to break the contract at any time with the SRDA but please note the following points:

• Contracts cannot be broken whilst in negotiations with sponsors.
• We cannot not refund unused months of your membership

To end your membership just drop us an email and if you pay monthly, cancel your subscription with Paypal.

Are there any conditions on the free trial?

The free trial consists of a free month on any tariff and option. There is no obligation to sign up after the free month. Your free trial may only be taken once.
